Behind Rossa Pottery
Rossa Pottery is two generations of experience fused with the creativity of the craftsman’s hands. It was first established in 1962 in a stable yard at the back of a pub on Main Street in Cashel. Each piece originates from the clays of Tipperary, which is painstakingly dug by hand for you to cherish for life. Each piece is signed on the bottom by the potter, consequently making each piece unique. Rossa has developed a distinctive style of glazing from age-old recipes, which have been passed from father to son. Their deep bowl shows off this unique glaze on the outside, so the decorative feature is still visible even when the bowl is in use.
